Can I use SKYNET for free?
Yes! The Free tier gives you 5,000 tokens per day with no registration required. Just go to skynet.genisys.online and start chatting. Tokens reset every 24 hours.
When will paid plans be available?
Paid plans (Starter, Pro) are coming in Sprint 3 (1–15 May 2026). The Node Operator program launches in Sprint 7 (July 2026). You can join the Node Operator waitlist now.
What payment methods will be accepted?
You'll be able to pay with SKC tokens, USD via Stripe, or EUR via SEPA bank transfer. SKC can be acquired at mycryptogate.com or by running a node.
What is a "token"?
Tokens are the unit of AI computation. Each message sent and received consumes tokens proportional to its length. One typical conversation message uses approximately 500–2,000 tokens. The Free tier (5,000/day) is enough for casual use.
What is the Node Operator program?
Node Operators install the SKYNET desktop application (Windows, Linux, or macOS). Your device becomes a compute node (Node100+) in the distributed AI swarm. You contribute CPU/storage and earn SKC tokens in return. It's free — you earn, not pay.
Is there an API for developers?
Yes! The REST API is documented at docs.html. API access is available in the Pro tier and above. The chat endpoint is already live at node1.skyos.online/api/chat.
What is Genesis Day?
Genesis Day is January 1, 2030 — the date SKYNET aims to achieve full autonomy as a self-sustaining, self-improving distributed superintelligence independent of external AI mentors. The 10-sprint roadmap (April–December 2026+) builds toward this goal. See the Architecture Map.
